Too wonderful. Dawn of the Dead rendered in handknitting. I wish I had more time to be creative. Poo.

The thing is--can anyone find me a set of handcards to purchase for under $40?

O goodness. The New York Sheep and Wool was a thrill. I went with lilachica, whose tastes and mine do not always match but who was a delight to shop with. She never chided me, even a little, except maybe as a joke, for buying a cormo lamb's fleece, unprocessed. She never said "hey, you don't own a washing machine and that thing's going to take forever to dry once you clean it." She never said "don't you hate the color apricot?" She never said "haven't you been complaining that you are stressed out and tired because you have no time to sleep now that you are in school? Why would you add another project to your list?" Nope, she was the bestest shopping buddy ever.

There are times in your life when you look around and say, "Hey. Man. This is not what I signed up for." Ending your sentence in a preposition, is, of course, a sin of the first water, and probably that for which you are being punished, but Still, Man.

I went to visit family this weekend. I have to say, although I love them and was thrilled to see them, that it went pretty much terribly.

And why can't I get on to the Victoria and Albert Museum siiiiite?!!!!!!

But it's a happy anniversary type of day, and so I shall not dwell, but shall say, "Happy Anniversary!!!" to R and J and also to me and mine. It's a good month for it--October is just cute as a bug.
