I'm afraid that I found Layer Cake rather forgettable. It really ought to have been named Layer Cake of Sh*t --no, really: if you have seen the movie, you have to agree that the change of title would have improved everything.
Last night I thoroughly, and un-ironically!, appreciated Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The writing is actually very good, though the editing and shooting of action sequences could have used some work. Brad Pitt is just darling, with his little suppressed dances and punch-ey maneuvers.
My current project is a pair of socks knitted from my very own handspun. Despite their being knitted right off the spindle, folks persist in asking where they can get the yarn. I wonder, as I wave the drop spindle at them and they continue giving me a blank look, whether they wonder if it's some kind of fancy yarn holder. Seems like an extreme amount of ignorance for a knitter.
