I am alive and well (well, mostly, except for having the flu) and I spent the last couple of days goatsitting! Nifty--but I think they are probably mighty relieved to have their regular milker back today. I am slow at the job and they get nervous.
I wish I had a digital camera--baby chickens hatched out yesterday at the farm, and they are such sweet little peepers. Also, there's a wee little kid goat who's still being bottle fed.
Did you know that goats drink water like people do? (They use their mouths to suck it up, rather than lapping it up like, say, dogs or cats do.)
Shout out to the folks at the Temple--you know that you all are in my thoughts. And I do love your drunk dialing.
