Is it just me, or does the post-Christmas news seem particularly strange and sad? I can't believe that Jerry Orbach passed away. And I can't believe that that tsunami killed so many people--it's just mind-boggling and awful.

My Christmas was very nice, though. Since we didn't get to have one last year, I threw myself into this one wholeheartedly, like a Martha on speed. I'm still recovering.
