Okay, everybody. If you know someone who writes for the O.C., or if you know the ad libbing guy who plays Seth Cohen, tell me. He keeps on using my vocab--last night, it was "love rhombus." (That is a love triangle with an extra point.) That is not in common usage! I made that up!

I am going to say "enigma wrapped in a tortilla" much more often for the next few weeks. We'll see how long it takes for that to filter up to national television.

It's my own design, and it fits perfectly, but, really, it's all about the colors. (Daffodil buds, I'd say.) Yarn is handspun and hand-dyed, and from Deep Colors of Kensington, CA.

I am returned from Oakland, and, phew, I'm tuckered out. It was an okay trip--not particularly successful, business-wise, but exciting in that I'm-in-a-big-city-way. Thai and Vietnamese food; I found a *great* little fabric shop in Oakland (Silk Road Fabrics); I can say I've been to San Fran, as I took their metro, the Bart, over to Market Street one night. Totally charged up and down those hills in my unfortunate 3 inch heels. Didn't hit the bars (no cover for me, thank you), but did drop in on a great late-night bookstore and the few other shops that were open at 11 pm.

And the humidity did my skin a world of good. But now I'm back to arid ol' CO. Ah, well.

Urrrgh, work is a big ball of heck today. I have a faboo idea for home decorating, though my apartment isn't really up to any schmanciness. Next home, I'm framing swatches of lace to shade the windows. It'll be great.

Chachacha, what can I tell y'all? I'm afeard that I seriously lack in fluff news. Didn't really watch the Superbowl, just the first few moments (while it was still boring), and then I switched over to Notting Hill. Hugh Grant is forever charming. I am such a girl.
